Portugal boasts an incredible diversity of wines from the fresh, spritzy whites of Vinho Verde to the rich, full-bodied reds of Lisboa and, of course, the powerful fortified Port wines of the famous Douro valley. Portugal's fortified and red wines still rule the roost, although the whites are now showing exciting potential and not necessarily just at the cheap and cheerful end. There are now rich pickings of top quality whites made from Loureiro, Alvarinho, Codega, Rabigato, Donzelinho and Malvasia. Excellent sweet Moscatels can also be found in regions like Setúbal in the south. As for red wines, the varieties abound, and are led in reputation by Touriga Nacional followed by Touriga Franca, Tinta Cão and Tinta Roriz (aka Tempranillo), Baga, Castelão and Trincadeira to name just a few. Dive in and discover one of the most exciting and innovative wine regions in the world.
I have enjoyed these wines very much - in particular I liked the Belle Vignes which was rich and very flavoursome
The Cabra Cega was a particularly easy drinking quaffing wine.
Still have another 2 bottles left to sample

Great
Great selection, great taste, great value, fast delivery
Quality is consistent. Deeper bouquet and flavor than most Cali Zins. The Earth tones come thru beautifully about two years from Vintage. Wonderful
Red to contemplate on its own or with good food.
