Cavallotto makes their Barolos in an updated traditional style that has produced compelling results, especially over the last few years. Cavallotto is one of Piedmont’s best kept secrets, and not just for Barolo. Antonio Galloni - The Wine Advocate The estate’s 2006 Barolo Bricco Boschis offers up dark red cherries, leather, anise and spices, all of which come together nicely on a mid-weight frame.
