Domaine Corsin Macon Villages 2010 Back in stock and a stonking new vintage!Situated at the southern end of the Burgundy region, Mâconnais is home to some of the best white wines in the world! "No Burgundy lover should ignore the buzz in Mâcon today" reckons Andrew Jefford, (one of our favourite wine writers).Jean-Jacques and Gilles Corsin produce some of the most striking white wines in the Mâconnais, and their indefatigable pursuit of quality puts them in high demand as consultants. The Corsin wines are among the finest whites we have to offer and yet they remain remarkably well-priced. In fact, their price-to-quality ratio is, to use a nasty phrase, "off the charts". Gilles' 2010 Macon Villages has creamy lemon curd and smoke aromas. Lovely ripe grapefruit, peachy notes and mouthwatering mineral characters that linger on an intense and long finish. The standard here is unbelievable for just twenty five bucks.
