Domaine Corsin St Veran 'Vieilles Vignes' 2009 Back in stock!The St Veran is made from a plot of low-yielding 40 year-old vines. It is aged in oak but with considerable restraint, as the emphasis is on harmony and purity of fruit - no over-oaked, over-blown Chardonnay here! The 2009 vintage is shaping up to be a classic. Gilles Corsin has ended up making a tightly wound, fine but powerful St Veran that will outlive most top Meursault! A tour de force for the Macconais.
