Domenico Clerico 'Arte' 2008 The 2008 Arte (90% Nebbiolo, 10% Barbera) emerges from the glass with freshly cut roses, cherries, spices and licorice. The wine shows quite a bit of freshness and brightness, qualities that aren’t so apparent in many 2008 Nebbiolo and Nebbiolo-based wines. A wonderful sense of florality is woven throughout, leading to a refined, impeccably polished finish. The 2008 is way too young, but it is a fabulous wine that only needs a few more years in the cellar. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024. - 91/100 Antonio Galloni - The Wine Advocate
