Joseph Drouhin Beaune Clos des Mouches 1er Cru 2003 The Clos des Mouches vineyard is wholly owned by Drouhin and many regard it as the company’s flagship wine. Here there is the same level of quality as the Beaune Greves, but it is perhaps more expansive, opulent and spicy. A big step up with much finer and prettier ripe red pinot fruit aromas. - Burghound Laid back, composed. Good fruit,. Good style. This is very good indeed. - Clive Coates MW
