Grand Veneur Côtes du Rhône Reserve Blanc 2010 Another knock-out wine from Grand Veneur. Everything the guys at Grand Veneur turn their hands to seems to turn to gold. This time it's a mineral-laced, floral white Rhône which is very food-friendly and wallet-friendly to boot. Made from roughly equal parts Clairette, Rousanne and Viognier, and relishing the natural richness and honeyed exuberance of these varieties, this wine is particularly successful because of its juicy seam of citrus and stone-fruit acidity which lends shape, freshness and lots of aromatic interest.
