Francois Chidaine 'Les Bournais' Montlouis 2004
Francois Chidaine 'Les Bournais' Montlouis 2004 Quince, honey and tangerine scent the nose. Les Bournais is named for the prevailing, Vouvray-like chalk-clay soil mixture that prevails in this recently planted Montlouis parcel. A creamily-textured and almost voluptuous palate suggesting ginger-laced orange liqueur and herbal-floral distillates, leads to a pure, clear, citrus and honey finish.
