Remi Jobard Meursault 1er Cru 'Le Poruzot Dessus' 2006 Ripe green fruit, earth and an herbal note are set off against a very subtle touch of wood toast that precede the rich, full and solidly powerful and concentrated medium weight plus flavors brimming with dry extract that confers an almost chewy feel to the finish. This offers plenty of depth and I particularly like the length and while this cannot compete with the two following wines in terms of elegance or finesse, this is very Poruzots in character.- 91/100 Burghound
