Jean Paul & Benoit Droin Chablis 'Montmains' 1er Cru 2007 Yellow-green color. Precise aromas and flavors of lime, minerals and crushed stone. Dense and dusty, offering a lovely combination of richness and cut. A very juicy wine with a slightly hard-edged, classic finish. Very Chablis. We mused in the office the other day...when was the last time we had a bad bottle of Montmains! Perhaps the most reliable premier cru. Very limited.
