Ch Gigognan Chateauneuf-du-Pape 'Vigne du Regent' 2005 Chateau Gigognan is not a Chateau at all but rather a charming 19th century Provencale manor house originally built by the Jesuit community, close to the village of Sorgues.Very long and intense in the mouth, the nose shows hints strawberries with other red fruit. Good spice and nice game notes give it a polished mouthfeel. Very full, without being over the top.
