Martin Codax Albariño 'Gallaecia' Vendima Serodia 2004 This is a very rare botrytis Albarino made only 2-3 times a decade when the conditions for noble rot are just right. Gallaecia has a yellow colour with bright lemon hints. In the nose there is an intense perfume of raisins and subtle aromas, typical of botrytis although the main characteristics of the grape can still be sensed. It is very lively in the mouth and has a touch of sweetness that comes from the maceration, giving the impression that the wine is not as dry as it is. It has a long and very pleasant aftertaste making "Gallaecia" a very special wine.
