Bouvet 'Zero' Extra Brut 2007
Bouvet 'Zero' Extra Brut 2007 This is Bouvet's zero dosage or unsweetened wine. We tried it at the cellars a couple of years ago for the first time, we didn't even know they made one! Anyway, it is absolutely lovely in that bone dry, fresh, crisp kind of way. Great as an aperitif because its bracing acidity gets the juices going and is great for stimulating the appetite.The nose is fine with notes of mirabelle, vanilla and biscuit. On the palate, it is well-balanced, subtle and elegant, with a long, fresh acid finish.
