Niepoort Redoma Branco 2007 Wow! Our first taste of the Niepoort table wines and if this is anything to go by we're in for a treat. Get in quick with these wines or we'll drink them all. We're NOT kidding!A blend of the indigenous white grape varieties Rabigato, Codega and Donzelinho, plus a couple of other bit players.Extremely fresh and elegant on the palate but with some fatness of body and quite rich. Great complexity, with citric and mineral aromas and greenguage plum and some riper notes of white peaches. The palate has great intensity with full texture, a raft of white fruit flavours and mineral overtones. The Redoma apparently has very good ageing potential.
