Made from 100 year-old Syrah vines in the heart of France's Languedoc region.From the sunny south of France comes this blockbuster of a red wine. Not only is this wine great value it is an excellent example of the little known region of Faugères. Brightly coloured purple leading to rich red cherry fruit and wonderful rich spice, smooth and silky on the finish. Unctuous black fruit and chocolate aromas. Ripe black cherry characteristics. Pleasant generosity through finish with hints of rose and pepper.
