"We have always loved the white from Marie Giraud, and her 2018 Châteauneuf du Pape les Gallimardes Blanc is no exception. This will be one of the great vintages for white Châteauneuf du Pape with all the tension and precision that the very best vintages offer. Restrained at first this opens up to reveal classic notes of stone fruits, green pear, peach, citrus rind and a salty minerality on the nose. This is medium-bodied, fresh and crisp, with excellent texture and depth. Always one of the top wines of the appellation this brilliant white will have at least 2-4 years of fine drinking."
