be blunt, you shouldn't really expect all that much. from this wine. But my word Canapi delivers! Character, flavour, super-slurping gluggability, call it what you want, some wines just stand head and shoulders above their price-peers in the bang–for–buck department. Canapi Nero d'Avola is that wine, and it's been Wine Direct's favourite Sicilian for more than 10 years now. Grab some before we drink the lot. "It is sweetly fruited and inviting on the nose showing black/blueberry, plum jam, roasted nut and subtle spice aromas, leading to a succulent palate that is plump and silky. Wonderfully rounded and smooth, the wine offers delightful fruit intensity and finishes long and comforting. Outstanding value for money."
