Central Otago Pinot Noir

The most southerly wine region in the world, Central Otago was first identified for its serious Pinot potential way back in 1895 by Italian viticulturalist Romeo Bragato. It's a measure of the success of the ‘brand’ and the appeal of its full-bodied Pinot Noirs that the region has experienced a 350 percent increase in the vines planted there. And in case there was any doubt, this really is Pinot Noir Central - the variety makes up 75 percent of the region's vineyards overall. The overall quality of this region has never been higher and there's never been a better time to be a Pinot lover. Get amongst it.
